Hannah and James first met in Chicago in September of 2019 when one of James' coworkers invited her to play for his company's soccer team. James was the captain, and win or lose, he’d always rally the team for post-game beers and tequila shots at Kincade’s, a nearby bar in Lincoln Park. It was during these outings that their connection began to blossom. Hannah first realized James was interested when, sitting on opposite ends of the table, he'd speak over everyone just to have a conversation with her!

As the season went on, they grew closer. Before long, James was inviting Hannah to play on his other teams, and they were spending nearly every day together.

Hannah and James both share a deep love for travel, nature, and exploring the world. In the fall of 2021, they made the bold decision to move to San Diego—and they haven’t looked back since. With California’s incredible natural beauty right at their doorstep, they've hiked through towering Redwoods, climbed mountains in Yosemite, and camped beneath the stars in Sequoia and Joshua Tree. Along the way, they’ve experienced some of the world’s most breathtaking landscapes. But what they cherish most is sharing these unforgettable adventures with family and friends.

As they reflect on over five years of love, laughter, and adventure, Hannah and James eagerly look forward to the future. They can’t wait to continue building a life filled with family, love, and more unforgettable journeys. They’re also excited to share their special day with their cherished friends and family, celebrating the beginning of this beautiful new chapter in their lives.
